This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Capitol Visitor Center and will be providing audio visual operations to various clients throughout the facility. This opportunity combines the talents of project management and multimedia to produce exceptional products using audio visual technologies in meeting rooms, the Congressional Auditorium, and other meeting spaces.
The individual selected for this position will:Perform audiovisual (AV) duties to ensure a quality visitor experience in the CVC through delivery of consistent service standards to ensure operational readiness and maximum performance to allow for fluid visitor flow in a safe and secure environment. Set up and operate the AV system control, video, projection and audio equipment for the Orientation Theaters, Virtual Theaters, Congressional Auditorium, Exhibition Gallery, Meeting rooms and other CVC spaces. Operate a full range of professional theater projection and lighting equipment, and/or presentation equipment. Interconnect various units to fill the unique needs of each production.Coordinate the operation, maintenance, repairs and upgrade of AV equipment with vendors and CVC Partners. Receive, respond to, and ensure the resolution of customer requests for assistance on issues related to the AV equipment, setup, operation and associated software.Work with other team members and assist in providing technical support in the capture, edit, and presentation of information. Work with current multimedia systems, AV techniques, and technologies such as projection and audio equipment, theater projection and lighting equipment, presentation equipment, digital displays, VTC and AV system control devices.
