The Director of Communications will lead all efforts pertaining to Artsy’s press strategy and external communications, including speaking engagements for Artsy’s key executives. This experienced Communications executive will collaborate with senior stakeholders at Artsy to craft messages and narratives, secure successful interactions with press and coverage opportunities, maintain and grow press relationships and altogether raise Artsy’s company profile in the art, technology and business spheres. This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing and is a key leader within the marketing team. The Director of Communications will partner closely with other marketing team members, with special emphasis to the Brand and Product Marketing team. In addition, this senior executive will interface with all Artsy’s business units in crafting and executing communication strategies to address their specific business needs. The Director of Communications will manage one person (Marketing Associate), but will have a sphere of influence that is far reaching within the executive layer of the company. This new team member will join Artsy at a very exciting juncture, after a successful Series D round, and preceding impactful innovations planned on our roadmap for 2018. Key Qualifications:
