MARQUEE CLUB LEAD BARTENDER | PART-TIME Department: Marquee ClubDays/Hours: Variable SchedulePosition Type: Part-Time, Non-ExemptThe Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking friendly, outgoing, well-qualified candidates to fill the position of Marquee Club Lead Bartender! The Fox Theatre is excited to announce the recent opening of the Marquee Club presented by Lexus! This premium club is for use by patrons for every public performance at the Fox. Major Responsibilities: Provide Fox 5 Star Service to all guests and fellow employees Make all beverages to quality and service standards Set up assigned bar location with all beverages, garnishes, glassware and supplies Complete all opening and closing side work as assigned Assist in setting up daily bartender and cocktail bar/station assignments Assist in setting up staff’s daily opening/closing side work assignments Assist in opening/closing safe and closing accounting process Assist in managing monthly inventory Assist in giving lineups and monthly training classes Assist in creating on trend cocktails and beverage menus Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the shift Assist with minor guest complaints Assist in keeping the Marquee Club clean and in perfect condition Count down drawer and bank Turn in completed correct paperwork with all funds accounted for and balanced Assist management with bartenders/cocktail servers counting of banks, closing paperwork, and department safe procedures Attend daily line up and department meetings when posted Attend all training classes on product knowledge, service standards, Be creative in suggesting new crafted cocktails, coffees, and wine presentations. Other duties as directed
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications: Must have High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced education preferred Must have two or more years previous bartending supervisor experience in a private club, or fine dining restaurant Must have current ServSafe beverage management certificate Must have demonstrated knowledge in Drink Mixology, POS system, Opening / Closing paperwork, handling cash and credit card transactions, basic math skills, POS recovery, banks and safe operations Should have working knowledge in Bypass POS system or similar POS system with multiple screens Must have ability to work in fast paced environment. Must have ability to take and make multiple drink orders at the same time Must have ability to multi task work assignments to staff Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with last minute changes to guest counts and popup events Must have excellent communication skills, multitasking skills, passion for guest service with a smile, staff management skills, and HR policy knowledge
Essential Physical Requirements: Walking and standing during entire shift Continuously reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, stooping and wiping Remaining stationary for long periods of time Frequently climbing stairs Be Able to lift up to 35 lbs
Other Requirements: Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screening and background check.
