The Membership Events Coordinator supports all events and activities related to the Museum’s membership program and provides ongoing support to the department’s stewardship efforts as needed. Will be responsible for administrative and logistical support to the Assistant Director of Membership as required; Plan and execute membership events; coordinate scheduling and space reservations with internal stakeholders; Develop schedules and long-term program objectives; Secure all logistical needs for membership related activities, including catering, security, A/V needs, design requests, staffing and event materials; Draft and disseminate event briefs; attend Mobile Sales, MVS/Membership and roll-call meetings as needed; Manage event entry and management into EMS and Trello; ensure all event information is updated and accurate on an on-going basis; Manage event attendance reporting; Draft event copy; coordinate with Database Marketing for related On Sale and email campaigns related to events and activities; Support MFA Associates and MFA Senior Associates in Member tours and related events; Serve as primary membership contact for and at all Member events; attend related activities as needed outside of Membership; assist in planning institutional events and activities as needed; Provide superior customer service when responding to or dealing with members/visitors via e-mail, by phone, in person, or by mail, and update the Visitor Suggestion Database, as needed. Qualified candidates must possess a BA/BS with one to three years of related office experience; Strong writing and verbal communications skills; Solid computer skills; Strong quantitative skills in order to track budgets; Must be able to treat confidential information with discretion; Must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task without compromising quality; Able to work occasional nights and weekends.
