The Membership Operations Coordinator supports all operations related to the Museum’s membership program and provides ongoing support to the department as needed; Provide administrative and logistical support for Membership Operations Manager as required; Coordinate in-house gift processing and fulfillment, including receiving and preparing cash, check, and credit card gifts for deposit, entering and posting gifts to the Enterprise database system, and cataloging and storing gift forms and backup documents in a logical and retrievable fashion; Coordinate in-house gift related mailings, including those related to MFA Citizens and the Automatic Renewal Program, as well as generate, print, and mail acknowledgments, membership cards, and tax receipts; Administer address changes, duplicate card requests, refunds and adjustments, credit card disputes, bounced checks, and the Automatic Renewal Program; Coordinate fulfillment for Institutional Pass Program, including inquiries, renewal notices, fulfillment materials, and coordination with Member and Visitor Services; Process departmental time-sheets and expenses, including purchasing requisitions, check requests, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts; Provide superior customer service when responding to or dealing with members/visitors via e-mail, by phone, in person, or by mail, and update the Visitor Suggestion Database, as needed; Maintain the membership@mfa.org email account; Pick-up/drop-off departmental mail, research returned mail, and update database addresses and mail-flag suppressions as needed; Maintain and replenish inventory of stationary/office supplies as needed and oversee maintenance/repair of office equipment. Qualified Candidates must possess a BA/BS with one to three years related office experience; Strong writing and verbal communications skills; Solid computer skills; Strong quantitative skills in order to track budgets; Must be able to treat confidential information with discretion; Must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task without compromising quality.
