Join SCAD as a producer in creative initiatives and serve as the creative director, writer and producer for video, photography, and new media projects and initiatives for the university president. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the video and photographic coverage of the SCAD president and the development of related strategic video and social media content to promote the president and the unique events, environments, lifestyle and opportunities offered at SCAD. You will interview, network and negotiate contracts with high-profile visiting artists, students, and faculty and staff. In addition, you will continually research, seek inspiration and provide recommendations on how to keep the university’s creative initiatives, visual content and event promotion at the superior level of quality expected from a leader in the art and design community. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, candor and a confidential nature and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to provide leadership and motivation as well as convey SCAD vision and values to staff members. As a direct representative of the office of the president, you must exhibit professionalism in both appearance and demeanor at all times. The ability to travel — domestically and internationally — on short notice is required.
