The Product Specialist, Client Development will effectively position Tessitura’s cross-organization functionality, capabilities and success stories for prospects seeking to learn more about Tessitura’s solutions, with the goal of continuing to increase the number of organizations using Tessitura. The primary responsibility will include serving as a Tessitura subject matter expert for RFP responses, demos, and other sales interactions in the North American and international markets. The key elements of the sales process are to understand the business needs of our prospects and compellingly demonstrate that Tessitura is the best solution to meet those needs.
Product Specialist, Client Development Responsibilities:
Serve as Tessitura expert for RFP and Tender responses, demos, and other client development needs in North America and international markets. Respond to detailed functionality requirements accurately and persuasively. Write functionality overviews, proposals and other sales materials to position Tessitura as the best solution in the industry to unify and transform arts and cultural organizations. Build demo data to showcase Tessitura capabilities and best practices. Present general and subject matter-specific demonstrations to Tessitura prospects based on Client Development needs. Respond in a timely and appropriate manner to internal and prospect requests. Travel to prospect sites as required. Participate in managing the demo database, including building and maintenance of demo data, handling support needs, configuring new functionality, and more. Participate in building a repository and knowledge base of Tessitura capabilities, user success stories, and other sales-related knowledge. Participate in trade shows and industry conferences as required. Participate in company-wide initiatives as assigned. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum 2 – 6 years’ experience with Tessitura software; customer service, customer-facing support, client facing consulting, or sales experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how Tessitura functions in a business environment and will have expertise in one or more functional areas of Tessitura.
Must be a compelling and precise writer with the ability to respond to requests for information in a timely manner that can be factual and positively position Tessitura capabilities. Must be able to present well and react well during sales presentations utilizing active listening. Extensive knowledge of Tessitura features, capabilities, products and services. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Business experience in the arts and cultural sector Ability to grasp new technical material quickly and explain it to non-technical audiences. Ability to meet deadlines and follow schedules. Ability to manage projects with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Team player and self-motivated independent worker.
