The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking friendly, highly enthusiastic candidates for the position of Concessions Hawker.
The Concessions Hawker will travel about the Fox Theatre before, during, and after shows to sell or serve bar and concessions items to guests, utilizing portable vending carriers.
- Move about assigned area, enthusiastically selling bar and concessions items to guests
- Organize and prepare stock prior to the show’s vending
- Return remaining product, settle all transactions with management, and clean/prep for the next event
- Other duties as directed
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive bar and math test, showing general knowledge of wine and drink mixology
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Moving about during entire shift, traversing entire venue including moving between multiple floors
- Continuously carrying, reaching, bending, lifting, stooping, and wiping
- Sometimes remaining stationary for long periods of time
- Frequently climbing stairs
- Be Able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry portable vending carrier with product for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screening and background check
