Reporting to the Director of Development Operations and Analysis, the Development Operations Assistant supports the Museum’s fundraising operation by processing and recording gifts and pledges to the Museum. Essential functions include: receive and prepare gifts for deposit to the financial office; record and post gifts to the donor database; generate receipts and acknowledgments for gifts; route gift information to financial and development staff; maintain integrity of computer donor records, including address and financial information; perform data adjustments as necessary; scan donor documentation; maintain and retrieve digital files. The position requires great attention to detail and accuracy, strong computer and database skills, comfort in dealing with financial information, and the ability to handle confidential information.
