The Digital Production Assistant will work with the designers, developers, and strategists of the Museum’s Interactive Team to maintain, update, and expand the content of

Specifically, you will…

Copyedit, fact-check, and proofread text for events, exhibitions, and other visitor-facing information on our website, using our house style guide and the Chicago Manual of Style Create web-optimized graphic assets for our mobile and desktop website, as well as its associated E-commerce interfaces, using Photoshop templates and provided source imagery and copy Process work orders to update the text, image, and embedded video content of using our custom content management system and basic HTML tagging on both live and staging environment servers. Ensure that the Museum’s brand (both our visual identity and tone of voice) standards are consistent across all web touchpoints.

Your diverse background includes…

Experience copyediting and writing for a web audience Experience using content management systems to organize and upload digital assets Excellent organizational skills and attention to visual and version-control data Proficiency with Photoshop and HTML tagging Strong sense of composition in page layout and artwork image cropping and overlays Can work within pre-set design parameters and existing style Ability to work on-site 20 hours per week
