MARQUEE CLUB CONCIERGE | PART-TIMEDepartment: Marquee ClubDays/Hours: Variable schedule including mornings, days, nights, weekends, double shifts and holidays as neededPosition Type: Part-Time, Non-ExemptThe Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Marquee Club Concierge. 

 

The Marquee Club Concierge will work the Marquee Club front of the house Host Stand. You will be the first to greet our customers so the first impression of our club depends on your friendliness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a smart and trustworthy individual able to provide customers with a warm greeting and handle all incoming requests. In addition, you will be responsible for scanning all Marquee Club tickets/passes and providing guidance to those customers who may or may not have a scannable ticket/pass. You will be responsible to protect the Club and its guests by monitoring who comes in and out of our premises. You must have a working knowledge of club operations and must attend Fox and departmental meetings as requested.

Major Responsibilities:

OPERATION: Welcome customers upon entrance and confirm and scan tickets/passes. Act as a point of reference for guests who need assistance or information about club operations or show information. Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and Theatre operations.  Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution. PUBLIC RELATIONS: Working with the club management on creating a 5 star experience for the guest by fulfilling their request and interacting with them during club services. Be polite and confident with a great deal of patience. Aptitude in resolving issues with a customer-focused orientation. HOUSEKEEPING: Maintain the front of the house concierge desk area and secondary entrances, contacting housekeeping when needed to maintain a 5 star appearance in all area. Attend Fox and department meeting as directed. Other duties as directed

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent Must have at least one year previous experience in a private club, an fine dining restaurant, or catering operation Knowledge in international food and tapas preferred Should have general knowledge of food service operations Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent communication and multitasking skills Must have a passion for guest service with a smile

Essential Physical Requirements:

Walking and standing during entire shift Remaining stationary for long periods of time Occasionally climbing stairs Occasionally lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs

Other Requirements:

Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screening and background check.
