Gagosian is looking for a full-time Exhibitions Coordinator / Artist Liaison Assistant We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and positive individual with prior experience as a project coordinator, manager and/or registrar. Candidate must be able to excel in a fast paced and high pressure environment. Must be able to make strong and thoughtful decisions as well as be able to anticipate the needs of the Director and the artist studios the director is associated with. This position demands the ability to handle a high level of volume and complexity with speed and efficiency. Strong organizational skills and attention to details are necessary for this role. Excellent verbal and written skills are required. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: •    Maintain and track artworks (pricing, availability, sales, shipping, installation) •    Generate and maintain records of loans, consignments, donations, studio invoices •    Assist and provide research for insurance valuations •    Implement and oversee shipping and installation schedules for works •    Experience in exhibition planning •    Manage check lists •    Coordinate studio visits for staff and collectors •    Daily communication with artist studios •    Experience working with conservators and fabricators on a global level •    Understanding of best art handling practices •    Ability to multi-task •    Arranging travel for artists and respective studio personnel Qualifications for the role: BA in art-related field, 2-4 years art logistics experience (gallery, museum and/or installation company), MS Office, Sketch Up, In Design, proficiency with art database, impeccable verbal and written communication skills, ability to anticipate needs and proactively project manage. Position Type: Full-Time/Regular/Non-Exempt/Salaried position with overtime. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, comprehensive benefits package including three weeks’ paid vacation which increases with tenure.
