SCAD seeks a full-time Professor of Painting to teach students to push the boundaries of expression while mastering classical methods of fine art instruction and practice. The ideal candidate has a strong professional record and representational painting background. You have the ability to effectively guide students in representational skills acquisition; knowledge of traditional and contemporary painting techniques, art theory and practices; and knowledge of current critical theory. Additionally, you can work closely with graduate students as a team leader, have an interest in teaching a class on the business practice of art and past or current gallery representation. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
