Role Summary

Supervise 1–2 cash control clerks per shift.• Assign responsibilities for the various tasks required during an event. • Research any “room” cash discrepancies. • The cash control supervisor ensures that cash control policies are being followed.• Responsible for providing a safe and guest friendly environment for all cash control clerks.

Specific Functions/Activities Summary

Set-up Events in CAS (Cash Accounting System)

Assign nightly responsibilities to each of the cash control clerks on duty. Ensure that “cash runs” to Theater; when requested by Stand Level Supervisor; are performed in a timely manner. Ensure that cash pick-ups are performed on schedule. Review and approve all Glory cash differences in excess of $5.00. Post all event coupons to CAS on a nightly basis. Sort and maintain separate files of the various charges, cash tickets, proof sheets that are produced for each event. After each cash control clerk proves at the end of the night, remove the coin and small bill currency from their deposits and replenish the cash vault for the start-up banks. Ensure that the funds deposited for the day’s events agree to the “Total Event Count” in CAS. Verify that the cash vault proves at the end of the shift. Verify that all clerk deposits are doubled in accordance to Policy and Procedure. Verify that the individual cash deposits prepare by the cash control clerks are posted to the Guarda receipt correctly and the dollar value of the deposits agree to the event records. Supervise the Check Cashing operation as needed.

Qualifications

 

Should have at least 2-3 years of supervisory or lead experience in Cash Handling/Banking Experience

Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be people oriented. Commitment to providing a high-quality service experience for guests Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary Ability to present an uplifting personality while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and business ethics Demonstrates integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values, and principles while ensuring the upmost consistency Skilled at working collaboratively and in a team environment Strong interpersonal skills Must be available to work a flexible schedule mostly nights and weekends, holidays required Approximately 40 people

Education

Candidates who have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
