The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, New York City’s preeminent chamber music organization, seeks one responsible, efficient, friendly, self-motivated individual for the position of Ticketing Assistant. The Ticketing Assistant is the first point of contact for CMS ticket buyers. He/she represents CMS to the public and therefore shall maintain exemplary customer service policies. Candidates must be extremely organized, have the ability to multitask and self-govern, work well with others, be detail-oriented, have excellent customer service skills, possess a friendly, pleasant personality, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and enjoy working with the public. Knowledge of classical music is highly important, however, we will also consider candidates who are interested in actively learning more about the chamber music art form. Duties include: processing phone and mail ticket orders, assisting with concerts as required, processing subscription requests, database entry, filing, and additional duties as directed.
This is a full-time position, split between regular office hours and event duties. The candidate must be available to work events on Sundays and weekday evenings.
